LBY is at the centre of research to develop the next generation of schools for the DfE.
Building on our 10+ expereince as DfE design advisors, and the Post-Occupancy Schools research, we are now heavily involved in evolving school designs.
This involves working with the DfE on the accommodation schedule, and developing school design templates to be rolled-out to contractors and designers. The research will embody new space standards and designs, all under-pinned by environmental sustainability.
Major Competition Win - Chatham

LBY teamed-up with another leading firm of architects to enter a competition for a major project in Chatham, Kent.
We were very excited to be told just before Christmas that we had won the compettion.
The scheme involves the refurbishment of a landmark building in the centre of Chatham, combined with a significant new-build element. We hope to start work early in 2020.
